Dallas or Austin… Dallas or Austin… Austin, you may be weird, but we chose to go with Dallas. With a parade and festival that is said to be the largest Irish celebration in the Southwest, how could we choose anything else? An event with an average attendance of 125,000 people, 90 parade floats throwing tortillas and marshmallows, and a Third Eye Blind concert? Yes. We are in! The parade is always a good one (minus the whole wasting of food thing) and has raised and awarded over $72,500 in scholarship money. We are all for celebrations that are a good time and also support a good cause! Make note that the parade is March 19th this year instead of the weekend before St. Patty’s Day. Parades not your thing? We have you covered. Our suggestion is Paddy Reds Irish Pub in Ft. Worth. With 7 TVs, karaoke, games, a ton of open space and over 100 different beers to choose from, you’ll for sure find something to love at this place. You can drink green beer until your heart’s content and then sign up to sing your favorite karaoke jam. May we suggest singing “Bye, Bye, Bye” to your sobriety level? Seems like a solid plan to us.
