Design and Photography Manager

My State Threads creates simple apparel and gift designs that allow people to show love for their state and community.  We believe our products help create a positive impact wherever they are sold.  We are doing way more than selling t-shirts, we are GROWING LOVE.



Our perfect design and photography manager interprets and designs digital and print assets that match the My State Threads brand. They understand our company design aesthetics, culture and voice and convey it through these art assets.


  • Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
  • Digital photography
  • Shopify platform experience is a plus
  • Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter experience are a plus
  • Hootsuite or similar experience is a plus


      • Product Design
        • Create new product designs to be printed on apparel and other products
      • Asset Creation
        • Create Ads for digital platforms
        • Create artwork for the website (i.e. homepage banners, icons, etc…)
      • Photography
        • Schedule photo shoots of product with and without models for use in ads and on website.
      • Creative Assets for Wholesale Team
        • Catalog layout and design
        • Asset requests for wholesale customers
      • If time allows, you will manage the website:
        • Adding products
        • Adjusting collections
        • Updating homepage
      • If time allows, you will manage social media, blogging, newsletter and email scheduling
        • Determine themes and direction:
          • When to push out pre-determined promos
          • Wholesale themed content
          • Customer and product pics
          • Culture pics (show personality of company)
        • Implement themes and content on homepage, blog, newsletter, social media and ads.
