Merch Program FAQ's

Q: How exactly does this work?

A: We will create a shopping collection online with your branded apparel.  We host this on our website (you can also embed the collection onto your website if you wish).  You will share your collection link with your community via social media, newsletters, etc…  When purchases are made, we will print and ship each item to the individuals.  We will pay you a portion of the sales on a monthly basis!


Q: I’m interested, How do I get started?

A:  The easiest way to get started is to send us your logo file to merch@mystatethreads.com.  From there we will mock up several items and send over to you for approval.  Upon approval, we will create your shop collection and share the link and embed code if you wish to add to your website.


Q: What type of art file do you need?

A: Vector files are preferred (.ai / .eps).  Second best are high resolution .png images with transparent backgrounds.  Third best are high resolutions .jpg files.


Q: How do I know what sells / can I see who bought my products?

A: We can send you a shopify sales report at your request.


Q: Don't you offer any other colors?

A: Because we print on demand we have to limit our options a little bit, so we try to stick to what our best sellers have been over the years.


Q: How much does my organization receive per item sold?

We adjust the retail price so the revenue is consistent (this makes it easier for us to track and do payouts).  You'll get $10 for tees, tanks, 3/4 sleeves.  $18 for sweatshirts, hoodies and slouchy tops.  $8 for kids' tees and onesies.

Q: What brands are you using to print on?

We use a combination of Tultex (this is our basic tee), Allmade (premium recycled tri-blend tee), Alternative Apparel (fleece sweatshirt and slouchy top), Rabbit skins (onesies).  I think that pretty much covers it.

Q: What about returns/exchanges? How does that work if someone is unhappy with their purchase?

We handle all returns/exchanges.  In the event there is a return/exchange, we either refund the customer or re-print their new size.  In these instances we just deduct the $10 or $18 from your payout to cover the cost of printing a new item.  If the payout already occurred for that month, we deduct it from the next one.  You won't ever owe us anything and we work with the customer directly to make sure they get the proper size :)

Q:  Are we able to order directly from you in bulk?  If so, would the wholesale pricing change at all for those orders? Is there an order minimum?

Absolutely.  We can handle bulk orders separately so you won't pay retail prices.  Basic tees/tanks will be $15, premium tees are $17 and sweatshirts/hoodies are $27.  If you end up ordering 24+ of the same style/print, we can start to quote even better pricing. 

Q: Are you able to send samples?

A: We’re happy to send out samples at cost + shipping.  Basic tees/tanks are $15, premium tees are $17, sweatshirts/hoodies are $45.  We would just invoice you separately when they're ready to ship.  If you wish to order more than 24 of the same item/design, we can begin to quote you discounted bulk pricing.

Q: Do you print front and back?

A: We can definitely do 2-location prints.  We just add $5 to the retail price of the item.  Your payout will remain the same.
